FileFinder is an extremely powerful finder-replacement stack. It performs most of the functions of the Finder (copy, delete, rename, move, get info, etc.).
To use Hard Disk Controller v5.0 correctly, you should follow these instructions:
1. Set HyperCard as the Startup Application using the Finder.
This means that, when you turn on your computer,
HyperCard will automatically boot up.
2. Click the install button located on this card. This will install
a script into the Home Card that will automatically load
this (Hard Disk Controller) stack (If you want to go
Home for any reason, you need only hold down the
command key when going Home.)
Following these instructions will provide you with an excellent finder-replacement, one that will greatly increase productivity because you don't have to go poking around in folders to find what you are looking for.

I'd like to thank the following people for the various XCMD's and XFCN's that are found in this stack. Needless to say, without their efforts, this stack wouldn't be here. And you wouldn't be looking at it. Etcetera.
Steve Drazga, for his Popup menus and for his Developer Stack.
Thanks to Guy de Picciotto (CopyFile), Steve Maller (NewFileName), Oscar Hills
(CustomFileName), Dewi Williams (DeleteFile, MoveFile, RenameFile), Dennis DeMars
(GetAppIcon, GetDocIcon) for various file externals.
Jay Hodgdon for the ShowDialog XCMD.
A fabulous effort by all of you. If you are in the list above, please consider this stack recompense for your hard work.
Thanks!
Scott Neufeld
